Tonight we watched the "Mountains" episode and were blown away! Thank you cameramen who lived in the harsh Himalayan ridges for weeks and months at a time to catch glimpses of the snow leopards. Thanks to the family who let their daddy leave just before Christmas and probably prayed those snow leopards into camera-view so that he could come home again for the new year. Thanks for views of Mont Blanc and K-2 and the Andean ridges along Patagonia. Thanks for helping me see glaciers as things of beauty instead of hulking, destructive masses (though they are those too).
Background to the upcoming posts: I was challenged by a friend to list things I'm thankful for. I decided to start here. I know I'm behind in my list since I only started being publicly thankful today. I'll double-up a few times to catch up.
